Event Objective of the event: The main objective of the event to understand the basic concepts of digital forensic science and procedure of uncovering and interpreting electronic data. The aim is to understand how to preserve any evidence in its most original form while performing a structured investigation by collecting, identifying and validating the digital information for the purpose of reconstructing past events. Output of Program:
The seminar constituted a good opportunity to Interpret and appropriately apply the laws and procedures associated with identifying, acquiring, examining and presenting digital evidence. Employ fundamental computer theory in the context of computer forensics practices. Identify the culture of white-collar crime and the methods used by white-collar criminals and employ this knowledge to guide economic crime investigations. Explain the role of digital forensics in the field of information assurance and cyber security and recognize the opportunities to benefit from and support the goals of those fields. The seminar met their objectives in learning the process of computer forensics, including topics within digital forensics and computer crimes.
