[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The six-day Hands-On Workshop (HOW), held from November 25 to 30, 2024, at Sandip University’s School of Design, was a remarkable celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and collaboration. Led by the esteemed Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Vibha Kapoor Ma\u2019am, and supported by the respected OSD, Prof. Vivek Nikam sir, along with the dedicated faculty and organizers, the event unfolded with great energy and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

The session kicked off with a symbolic lamp-lighting ceremony, led by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Sinha sir. Each day of the workshop featured something unique, from engaging workshops and insightful expert discussions to mesmerizing live artisan demonstrations. The students embraced the opportunity to explore and learn traditional crafts, skillfully blending them with modern innovation.<\/p>\n

To mark the grand finale on November 30, 2024, the esteemed Vice Chancellor Sir inaugurated a splendid exhibition. Dr. Sandip Jha Sir, our distinguished Chairman, was present at the event and shared his admiration for the exceptional talent and dedication of our artisans and students. The evening was truly memorable, with parents, teachers, and guests applauding the creativity and dedication reflected in every project.<\/p>\n

After the event, the esteemed OSD Prof. Vivek Nikam Sir visited the School of Design on December 3, 2024, to review the HOW workshop presentations. His visit, along with his appreciation for the effort and creativity displayed, was a great honor for us. The team was deeply inspired by his encouraging words and insightful feedback.<\/p>\n

The HOW Workshop was a tremendous success, raising awareness of traditional crafts and their relevance in the modern world, while showcasing the true essence of design. We eagerly anticipate many more exciting endeavors in the future and are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event such a remarkable achievement.<\/p>\n
