New Student Orientation Program 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The <strong>School of Design<\/strong> successfully conducted its <strong>three-day New Student Orientation Program 2025<\/strong> from <strong>30th July to 1st August<\/strong>, welcoming the new batch with insightful sessions, industry interactions, and creative workshops.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative was made possible with the support of <strong>OSD Prof. Vivek Nikam Sir<\/strong>, the visionary leadership of <strong>Dean Prof. (Dr.) Vibha Kapoor Ma\u2019am<\/strong>, and the active involvement of <strong>Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit Ma\u2019am<\/strong> (HoD \u2013 Design) and <strong>Dr. Rajashree Saoji Ma\u2019am<\/strong> (HoD \u2013 Beauty &amp; Cosmetology).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Program Highlights:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Day 1<\/strong> began with a Saraswati Vandana and a motivating address by Dean Ma\u2019am, followed by an introduction to the School of Design by <strong> Akruti Awinashe<\/strong>.<br \/>\nA guest session by <strong>Mr. Abhishek Pratap Singh<\/strong> (NIFT alumnus) and a campus tour helped students connect with the institute\u2019s ethos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day 2<\/strong> featured sessions on the <strong>University Examination Process<\/strong> and <strong>SWAYAM Courses<\/strong>, followed by an inspiring talk by <strong> Kaushik Sheel<\/strong> (NIFT alumnus).<br \/>\nThe day ended with a creative <strong>Art &amp; Scent Craft Workshop<\/strong> by <strong>Mrs. Pradnya Mohite<\/strong> and <strong>Mr. Yash Jagtap<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day 3<\/strong> focused on <strong>Training &amp; Placement<\/strong> and the <strong>Mentor\u2013Mentee Scheme<\/strong>, followed by guest talks from <strong> Suresh Khandare<\/strong> (IIHT), <strong>Ms. Savita Utekar<\/strong> (Graphic Designer), and <strong>Ms. Tanmayee Shinde<\/strong> (VICCO).<br \/>\nThe program concluded with hands-on <strong>Sustainable Model Making<\/strong> and <strong>Bubble Creations Workshops<\/strong>, encouraging creativity and teamwork.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The orientation concluded on a high note,
