Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.
The department established in the year 2017 is currently running under graduate (UG) programme, post graduate (PG) programme in five disciplines namely, M.Tech in Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering & planning, Environmental Engineering, Town & Country Planning and Construction Management. We also have Ph.D. programme in Civil Engineering
Our department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty and staff members and we are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. The curriculum of the department is more student centric and construction Industry oriented focused on outcome based education (OBE) pattern with a flexibility of modifying and updating the syllabi of the courses as per the need and requirements of the society/Construction industry. The department has excellent state-of-the–art laboratories for performing practical and carrying out testing and consultancy work.
We always work with the motto "Nothing Can Be Achieved without Genuine Effort." The core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy technocrat to compete and work at global level. Our department has been conducting seminar/conferences since its beginning to keep the faculty and students abreast with the latest developments in the field of technical education.
