B.ED / D.EL.ED / M.A Education SUJEE 2025 EXAM PATTERN

  • The Entrance Test will be conducted through online mode in Sandip University, Sijoul campus.
  • Type of questions: The question paper consists of multiple choice questions.
  • Total time duration: The duration of the exam is 1:30 hours.
  • Mode of exam: The mode of examination is online Computer based Examination.
  • The Total number of questions: There are 100 questions in total.
  • Negative marking not applicable.

Note:- Separate question papers will be available for B.Ed and D.El.Ed. The question level for B.Ed entrance will be as per the syllabus of graduation and level of questions for D.El.Ed will be as per the syllabus of +2(Inter).

Eligibility criteria for B.ED

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/or Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/Commerce or Bachelors in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission test to the B. Ed. programme.


Eligibility criteria for D.El.Ed.

  • The Candidates must have passed Intermediate/Class 12th from the Bihar Board or any other recognized Boards/Universities.
  • The Applicants must have scored at least 50% Marks in Intermediate/Class 12th (For General Candidates).
  • The aspirants should have scored at least 45% Marks in Intermediate/Class 12th (For Reserved Category Candidates).

Eligibility criteria for M.A Education

  • Passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s degree /B.Ed. awarded by any of the University recognized by University Grant Commission or Association of Indian University in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalents.

 Age:

  • *Candidate must be at least 17 Years on 01 January 2025.
  • *There is no provision of any maximum age limit criteria for appearing in the exam.

ADMISSION AND SELECTION PROCEDURE

 
  • The selection of candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Education programme (B.Ed)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in Regular mode shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in Entrance Test conducted by University.
  • Admission shall be made strictly in order of merit i.e. percentage of marks secured by the candidate at the Entrance Test held for the purpose. Reservation of seats provided in the general ordinance for admission shall be applicable only when candidate fulfills the minimum requirements.
  • Reservation of seats for the candidates of reserved categories shall be as per State Government’s rules.
  • 3% seats will be reserved for Person with Disability (PWD) CANDIDATES I.E. Visually’ Impaired (1%) Hearing Impaired (1%) & Orthopedically Handicapped (1%). These 3% seats are within the intake limit. Percentage of disability will be taken into consideration at the time of selection. The 3% seats of PWD candidates belong to.
  • Appearance in the Entrance Test is mandatory. The reserved Category candidates shall have to submit a copy of the certificate issued by state/central government.
  • Admission-merit list shall be prepared by the University and seat allotment will be done through Counseling.
  • After providing the opportunity for admission to the candidates having descending orders of merit of lower qualification up to the marks fixed by Sandip University, if the reservation percentage of any reserved category is not filled up, the same shall be exchanged as per State Govt. rules.
  • If at any time it is found that candidate has furnished any false information, his/her candidature shall be cancelled immediately and the deposited fee shall be forfeited and suitable legal action may be initiated.
  • In case of any controversy or irregularity pertaining to 2 year B.Ed./D.El.Ed. Course, the Sandip University shall take the final decision as per approved Ordinance and Regulations.
  • No such applicant shall be admitted, who in the opinion of Vice-Chancellor, does not deserve to be admitted in the best interest of University, (specifying the ground for rejection)
