The School of Design at Sandip University, Nashik, hosted a valuable Value-Added Program titled DIY Skincare Secrets on Saturday,15th February, 2025. This insightful event was made possible with the support of our Respected OSD Prof. Vivek Nikam Sir, under the guidance and leadership of our Respected Dean Dr. Vibha Kapoor Ma’am, and our dedicated Design HoD Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit Ma’am, and Beauty & Cosmetology HoD Dr. Rajashree Saoji Ma’am.
This Value-Added Program was conducted by Ms. Akruti Awinashe, Assistant Professor at the School of Design, who guided students on an insightful journey into the world of DIY skincare. Through this hands-on session, students learned how to create personalized, all-natural skincare products using simple and accessible ingredients that are both effective and gentle on the skin.
She empowered participants by providing them with the knowledge and skills to craft skincare routines that not only benefit their skin but are also environmentally friendly. The program emphasized the importance of using natural ingredients that are sustainable and free from harmful chemicals, allowing students to develop routines that promote self-care while being mindful of their ecological impact.
By the end of the session, students left with a deeper understanding of holistic skincare practices and the tools to create their own eco-conscious beauty solutions.
