The School of Design’s “The Tactile Mirage” is a large-scale interactive installation showcased at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Mumbai, widely recognized as one of Asia’s largest multicultural street art festivals. The installation transforms the nostalgic rocking horse into a bold geometric sculpture layered with digital symbolism like VR goggles. It invites playful engagement while sparking reflection on how technology is reshaping childhood and sensory experiences.
What makes this achievement truly special is the spirit of teamwork behind it. Under the guidance of HoD Design Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit and HoD Beauty Cosmetology Dr. Rajashree Saoji, along with the dedicated mentorship of Mrs. Pradnya Mohite and Ar. Shubham Ahire, our students and faculty worked with remarkable coordination, creativity, and commitment. This installation stands as a testament to what collaborative learning and a shared vision can accomplish. Now one of the most talked-about installations at Kala Ghoda, it has been turning heads and winning hearts, with artists, influencers, and visitors showering it with praise. A shining example of teamwork in action, this achievement celebrates passion, creativity, and the magic that happens when minds come together.
