The School of Design successfully conducted an inspiring workshop titled “Clay Weave Visions” on Monday, 6th April 2026 at the School of Design. The session beautifully blended weaving textures with visionary sculpting techniques, offering students a unique and hands-on creative experience.

The workshop was led by our esteemed guest expert, Mr. Dushant Shivlal Sulekh, a distinguished fashion designer and alumnus of NIFT, Delhi, who is also a recipient of the Best Menswear Award. With over 22 years of extensive experience across diverse garment categories and reputed brands in India and abroad, he brought invaluable industry insights to the session. His expertise spans illustration, concept designing, software-based graphics, styling, and product development.

The session encouraged students to experiment with materials, explore innovative textures, and enhance their artistic expression. It was an enriching learning experience that broadened their creative perspectives and strengthened their design approach.

This initiative was conducted under the visionary guidance of our Dean, Prof. Dr. Vibha Kapoor Ma’am, and supported by our HODs, Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit Ma’am and Dr. Rajashree Saoji Ma’am, whose constant encouragement continues to inspire our students to excel.
