Event Details: The Department of Beauty Cosmetology, School of Design, Sandip University, Nashik organized a Makeup and Hairstyling Training Program aimed at developing students’ practical knowledge and professional skills in makeup artistry and hairstyling. The program focused on the fundamentals of makeup, skin preparation, hygiene, identification of skin types, undertones and face shapes, and the appropriate selection and application of makeup products and tools. The training included Self Makeup for Personal Grooming, Dewy Traditional Makeup, and High Glam Makeup, along with professional hairstyles corresponding to each makeup look. The sessions incorporated live demonstrations, hands-on practical activities, assessment, and certification to provide students with industry-oriented exposure and enhance their confidence and career readiness in the beauty and cosmetology industry.
Upon Completion of the program:
- Students gained a fundamental understanding of makeup artistry, skin preparation, hygiene, and professional makeup practices.
- Students developed the ability to identify different skin types, undertones, and face shapes for appropriate makeup application.
- Students acquired practical proficiency in the professional use of makeup products, tools, and application techniques.
- Students demonstrated the ability to create Self Makeup, Dewy Traditional Makeup, and High Glam Makeup looks with suitable professional hairstyles.
- Students enhanced their practical skills, creativity, confidence, and professional readiness for careers and entrepreneurial opportunities in the beauty and cosmetology industry.
