The School of Design successfully organized a workshop titled “प्रमिती – सम्यग्दर्शन” (A Hands-on Workshop for Green Skills – for a Sustainable Future) on the occasion of International Youth Day, celebrated on August 12, 2025.

This creative and engaging event was made possible with the continuous support and guidance of our esteemed OSD, Prof. Vivek Nikam, under the visionary leadership of our respected Dean, Prof. Dr. Vibha Kapoor, and our dedicated Design HoD, Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit, and Beauty Cosmetology HoD, Dr. Rajashree Saoji.

The workshop, conducted by Mrs. Pradnya Mohite and Ar. Triveni Shewale, focused on showcasing students’ creativity for sustainable designs. As part of the activity, students enthusiastically designed and crafted various creative projects using waste newspaper, cardboard, and other sustainable materials, blending modern design concepts with eco-friendly practices.

This experience not only encouraged creativity and innovation but also deepened students’ appreciation for sustainable design. The session beautifully combined art, culture, and sustainability, allowing students to express themselves while honoring the spirit of International Youth Day.
