What a spectacular conclusion to an incredible journey! On April 30th, the School of Design transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and professional excellence as it hosted the Final Exhibition. The atmosphere was electric, marking the culmination of intense dedication, Hands-on Workshops (HOW 2026), and masterful curation.
✨ The Grand Inauguration
The event commenced with a prestigious inauguration ceremony. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Respected Vice Chancellor Dr. Pavan Bhaladare and Dean Academics Dr. D. D. Shinde. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Respected OSD Prof. Vivek Nikam, whose encouragement added immense value to the event.
🌟 Highlights of the Day
● A Full House: The campus was filled with enthusiasm as staff members and students from across the university visited the exhibition galleries and appreciated the creative displays.
● Family & Community: It was a proud moment for the School of Design family as the families of students and staff joined the celebration, appreciating the talent, creativity, and hard work showcased throughout the exhibition.
● Industry-Standard Displays: The immersive exhibition layouts successfully bridged the gap between academic exploration and professional presentation, showcasing prototypes and creative works developed to industry standards.
● The Runway Spectacle: Adding glamour and storytelling to the celebration, students organized a mesmerizing Fashion Show featuring two distinct themes:
- The Traditional Theme: A tribute to cultural heritage and intricate craftsmanship.
- The Indigo Theme: A contemporary exploration of sustainable dyes and modern silhouettes.
This landmark success was made possible under the visionary leadership of Dean Prof. Dr. Vibha Kapoor Ma’am, whose dedication and innovative approach played a vital role in organizing this enriching event. Heartfelt gratitude is also extended to the HODs, Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit Ma’am and Dr. Rajashree Saoji Ma’am, for their constant coordination, encouragement, and valuable support.
