Librarian Dr. Ujvala Ulhe started the program with a welcome speech. The Chief Guest for today’s program was Associate Professor, School of Law, Dr. Abhishek Singh. Dr. Abhishek Singh also interacted with the students and staff. The experts introduced themselves and their expertise and how to develop Indian languages and what is important for reading. 11th December 2024 is being celebrated as Indian Language Festival. It has been decided to celebrate this day as “Indian Language Festival” on the birth anniversary of Tamil poet, writer, journalist and famous freedom fighter Shri. Subramaniam Bharathi, popularly known as ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’. The importance of this day is to promote mother tongue among the common people and spread maximum awareness about linguistic and cultural traditions across the world and to instill a sense of unity among
