Event Details: The School of Design (SOD), Sandip University, Nashik, celebrated World/International Entrepreneurship Day by organizing an interactive and insightful session led by Mr. Pritesh Kshatriya. The session aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among design students by highlighting the potential of creativity and design as powerful tools for innovation, value creation, and business development.
Students were introduced to key concepts of entrepreneurship, including ideation, prototyping, business modelling, risk-taking, and early-stage venture development, with emphasis on applying design thinking to real-world business opportunities. The interactive activities encouraged students to collaborate, refine their ideas, and present mini-pitches, thereby enhancing their confidence, leadership, and communication skills. The session also familiarized students with available incubation, mentorship, and funding opportunities through Sandip University, Sandip TBI, and external startup ecosystems.
Overall, the program successfully connected classroom learning with industry and entrepreneurial practices, inspiring students to explore design-driven startups, internships, hackathons, and other avenues for transforming innovative ideas into sustainable ventures.
