The School of Design in collaboration with Ms. Ekta Agrawal EC member of Young Indians, Nashik Chapter successfully celebrated World Earth Day by organizing a special guest session on 22nd April 2026. The session was delivered by our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Ajit Takke, Director/COO of POCAEE LifeDesigns Bamboo Tech, who shared valuable insights on sustainable practices and eco-friendly innovations.

He highlighted the importance of integrating sustainability into design and lifestyle choices, emphasizing the role of bamboo as a versatile and environmentally responsible material. His session beautifully connected ecological awareness with design thinking, inspiring students to adopt greener approaches in their creative practices.

The program provided a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility, sustainable materials, and the significance of mindful design in today’s global context. It was an enlightening and engaging session that encouraged students to contribute towards a more sustainable future.

This initiative was conducted under the visionary guidance of our Dean, Prof. Dr. Vibha Kapoor Ma’am, and supported by our HODs, Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit Ma’am and Dr. Rajashree Saoji Ma’am, whose continuous encouragement inspires students to achieve excellence.
