Craft Furniture Workshop: A Successful Learning Experience.
The Craft Furniture Workshop, organized by the School of Design at Sandip University, Nashik, on Saturday, 28th September 2024. With the support of Respected OSD Prof. Vivek Nikam sir , Under the guidance of Respected Dean Dr Vibha Kapoor Ma’am, dedicated, Design Hod, Dr Taruna Rajpurohit Mam and Beauty & Cosmetology Hod, Dr Rajashree Saoji Mamand Faculty members.

The hands-on session provided students with valuable insights into the creative and technical aspects of furniture design concluded successfully under the guidance of Ar. Rutuja Kale. (Faculty, SOD)

During the workshop, students actively participated in crafting unique furniture pieces, where they were introduced about the history of craft, applying theoretical knowledge to practical work. Respected Dean Ma’am of the School of Design also shared her expertise on the importance of craftsmanship, design principles and knowledge about local furniture craft of Nashik.
