The School of Design at Sandip University Nashik, is conducting a Student Development Program Experiential Learning titled Earth Tatva from 7th to 12th April, 2025. This event was made possible with the support and guidance of our Respected OSD Prof. Vivek Nikam sir, under the visionary leadership of our respected dean (Prof.) Dr. Vibha Kapoor Ma’am and our dedicated Design HoD Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit Ma’am, and Beauty Cosmetology HoD Dr. Rajashree Saoji Ma’am.
The Student Development Programme (SDP), led by Shashank Nimkar, CEO and Founder of Earth Tatva Innovation Pvt. Ltd., provided participants with an enriching experience in product design, sustainability, and innovation. Shashank shared his entrepreneurial journey and introduced the concept of “Ikigai,” guiding students to align their passions with their career goals.
As the program progressed, students worked in teams to develop product sketches, refine prototypes, and create packaging, incorporating sustainability and innovation. In the final stages, they focused on hands-on product development, assembling and finalizing their prototypes.
On the last day, students presented their completed products to Mr. Shashank Nimkar, our respected Dean mam. The Products were evaluated based on creativity, functionality, and design. By the end, students showcased impressive progress, gaining valuable insights and skills to shape their futures as designers and changemakers.
