Overview:

Sandip University has etched its name in history with an ambitious attempt to enter the Asia Book of Records by hosting SunHack2K25, the continent’s largest Generative AI hackathon, in collaboration with ESDS Software Solution Ltd. Held from 21st to 23rd August 2025, the event witnessed an overwhelming response with 4000+ registrations, out of which 1800+ applications were shortlisted, and an impressive 1746 participants joined the hackathon. Organised by the Department of Computer Science and Application, School of Computer Science and Engineering (SOCSE), SunHack2K25 was a grand success. The hackathon offered prizes worth INR 50,000 to the top three winners and served as an exceptional platform for young innovators to showcase their talent, creativity, and problem-solving skills in the field of Generative AI. SunHack2K25 not only celebrated the spirit of innovation but also positioned Sandip University as a frontrunner in fostering cutting-edge technological advancements in India and beyond.
