Department of physical Education & Sports has organized 3rd Sandip open Sandip National Rapid chess competition at green campus of Sandip University, Nashik. The event was organized under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Sinha & Dr. Paresh Rege, Director Sports, SUN.
Outcome: In the inauguration function of 3rd Sandip open Sandip National Rapid chess competition opening ceremony done by spiritual person from Akshardham temple, New Delhi, Shriji Swami, Shri Ishwarcharndas swami & Kirtanpriyadas swami. Shriji Swami delivered his valuable words regarding benefits of sports in life, meditation and need of Physical fitness in today’s scenario. SUN Director Sports, Dr. Paresh Rege played a major role as chief coordinator for event. Registrar various yoga position along with benefits. Dr. Sandip Patil, SIPS welcome all
guests. Participants from Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan took part in the third National Chess Competition organized by Sandeep University. Cash prizes, medals, mementos, and other attractive awards were arranged for every age group. A total of 249 students from across the country registered for this competition. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by chief guests including Dr. Deepak Patil, Principal of S.I.E.M., Sandeep Foundation; Dr.
Lakshmikant Borse, Principal of S.I.P.S., Sandeep Foundation, Dr. Paresh Rege, Sports Director of Sandeep University, Dr. Sandeep Patil, Sports Director of S.I.P.S., Sandeep Foundation, among others.
