About the Activity :

The program started with the lighting of the lamp. Librarian Dr. Ujvala Ulhe started the program with welcome remarks. Preface of the program Vice Chancellor Hon’ble Dr. Rajendra Sinha Sir, Registrar Hon’ble Dr. Prasad Baviskar Sir Chief Guest of the program. Mr. Vinayak Ranade (Kusumagraja Pratishthan) and Mr. Naresh Mahajan also discussed with the students and staff. The experts introduced themselves and their expertise and how to develop a reading habit and what is important for reading. What kind of reading should we do, we should read books that will help us to think and behave positively. Books are friends, books come in handy when you are hospitalized or feel lonely. This Marathi Bhasha Din program is useful for all schools and related faculty of the university. Experts emphasize the benefits and value. Our Vice Chancellor Hon’ble Dr. Rajendra Sinha Sir, Registrar Honorable Dr. Prasad Baviskar Sir , SOCMS Dean Dr. Dr. Rupali Khaire the program was concluded in the presence of, all teachers and non-teaching staff. All the concerned team members of the Central Libraries and all the Respected Professors of the department were present on this occasion.

Conclusion:

We are happy to announce that today on 26th February 2024 MoU was signed on behalf of Sandeep University Library Nashik and Kusumagraj Pratishthan Our Central Library had arranged for a guest lecturer. Today’s lecture focuses on Granthpeti. It is useful for all students and staff. Hon’ Dr. Prasad Baviskar Sir Mr. Vinayak Ranade and Mr. Naresh Mahajan were felicitated by Hon’ Dr. Prasad Baviskar Sir introduced. Today’s lecturer focused on Granthpeti, Marathi books, Marathi poetry, stories, novels, what kind of books are useful?, how to develop reading habit? Moderator and librarian of today’s session. Mr. Vishal Rathod gave the vote of thanks. Honorable President Dr. Sandeep Jha Sir, Hon’ble Shri Pramod Karole Sir, Hon’ble Shri Vivek Nikam Sir, Hon’ble Dr. Rajendra Sinha Sir, Honorable Dr. We are thankful to Prasad Baviskar sir. They help us when we need it.

In this regard SOCMS Honorable Dean Dr. Rupali Khaire Madam,a  big thanks to you  and your team and thanks to our library staff also. It was a very informative session which would help in learning new things, introducing new book titles to staff and students. A total of 250 students and staff are present in this session.
