Pledge: mitti ko naman, viron ko vandan, pledge created a feeling of Indianness among students. It is a great initiative taken by our honorable Prime minister to inculcate the sacrifices of our warriors as well as to know the importance of our motherland.

By connecting with the land and honoring our heroes, this program will instill a sense of national pride and inspire future generations to protect India & cherish it’s heritage. This campaign comprises many activities and ceremonies conducted across the country at Panchayat/Village, Block, Urban Local Body, State and National levels likewise our The School of Design also conducted clay molding activities. This activity was performed by our students where they physically created new ideas by molding clay and creating different themes from it. This activity led students to know the importance of their motherland (soil) and also showcase their skills through design. Keeping the above points in mind, Sandip University’s School of Design conducted an innovative activity of Clay Model Making under the guidance of Respected OSD Sir and Respected Dean Ma’am with School faculties on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Objectives of Program:

  • We started with an overview of briefing of the background of the pledge to gain

  • We started with an overview of briefing of the background of the pledge to gain knowledge about the Past, Present & Future of this mission initiated by Honorable Prime Minister.
  • Then students creatively made clay models with messages to exhibit the importance of the soil of the land.
  • By the end of the activity, students felt comfortable creating their own unique innovative clay models inspired by various elements from the rich heritage of our country
