The Product Photography session as a Value Added Program was organized by School Of Design, Sandip University, on 14th October 2023, under the guidance of Respected Osd Sir and Respected Dean Ma’am. This in-house program was conducted by the faculty members (Dr. Rajashree Saoji (Academic Coordinator) and Ms. Somya Rawat) to enrich the students with their knowledge about Photography and how to present their products to market. Product photography plays a crucial role in marketing and branding, making it a significant aspect of portfolio development for Designers. The aspects covered during this program were basics of camera, composition, product styling, background, lighting and post processing. Product photography is an essential genre for designers aiming to build a diverse and attractive portfolio. It showcases the ability to capture the essence and details of various products, contributing to their versatility and marketability. This was truly a nourishing program for all the departments of School of Design as the students learned a lot of new things and had fun while learning.
