Topic: School of Design Collaboration with Radio Vishwas – International Week of Violence Against Women

Radio Vishwas 90.8 Community Station Nashik held a rally ‘Hinsa Ko No’ in a powerful demonstration against domestic violence against women on 4th 5th 7th and 8th December 2023. This was carried out in 4 Slum areas of Nashik: Bharat Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Annabhau Sathe Nagar, & Wadala Gaon. 

Sandip University School of Design collaborated with Radio Vishwas under the guidance of Respected OSD Pro Vivek Nikam and Dean Dr. Vibha Kapoor maam. Students from School Of Design, Sandip University have contributed by designing the banners for the rally. It gave the students a chance of exposure and an excellent opportunity to work for a greater cause.

The rally aimed to raise awareness, foster solidarity, and advocate for positive change in addressing the pervasive issue of violence against women.

A peaceful march through the town symbolized the collective commitment to ending violence against women and breaking the silence surrounding the issue.

Participants actively engaged in discussions about the importance of implementing and strengthening policies to prevent violence against women, holding those responsible accountable, and providing support for survivors.
