On October 28, 2023, the School of Design organized a unique and eco-friendly Value Added Program, focusing on “Upcycled Mannequins.” Under the guidance of the Respected OSD sir and Respected Dean Ma’am , this innovative workshop was expertly conducted by Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit and Ms. Somya Rawat.

Students and creative minds were invited to explore the art of transforming ordinary mannequins into stunning and sustainable pieces of art. The workshop aimed to promote the concept of upcycling, which involves repurposing discarded items into something new and valuable.

Dr. Taruna Rajpurohit and Ms. Somya Rawat shared their expertise and creative insights, inspiring participants to think outside the box. They guided attendees through the process of upcycling mannequins, teaching them techniques to breathe new life into these otherwise forgotten objects. Participants learned to use various materials, colors, and designs to revamp mannequins into unique works of art, all while keeping environmental sustainability in mind.
