About Water Resources Engineering

Water is, without a doubt, one of the most precious resources that human beings need to survive. Hence, it is extremely important for us to invest in the proper supervision and development of water resources.

Sandip University’s M.Tech in Water Resource Management is an advanced postgraduate program spread across two years and four semesters. The coursework includes fluid mechanics and management of water storage systems like dams, and irrigation, to name a few. Students are trained to learn about mathematical and scientific principles involved in the development of water storage and management systems.

Sandip University is one of the top water resources engineering colleges in Maharashtra that offers this program to interested and eligible students. This program is the right choice for candidates who wish to devote their life towards finding innovative means of improving water storage and conservation technologies.

Besides a rigorous industry-oriented curriculum, students are trained to enhance their soft skills and technical skills through field trips, industry visits, seminars, competitions, guest lectures, and student clubs. Sandip University can help you embark upon a bright career in water resources engineering.

Career Opportunities in Water Resources Engineering

Water Resource Engineer

These professionals have to design and execute projects to develop water systems to provide clean and hygienic water that can be distributed for human consumption

icon

Climate Modeler

Climate modellers have to study current climate systems to predict future climate cycles by taking into consideration various factors like land, seas and oceans, and the atmosphere.

icon

Design Engineer

Design managers are responsible for designing new systems and technology that can be used to save, store and distribute efficiently without any wastage or contamination.
