The Sandip University Central Library is an essential part of the university, helping students, faculty, and researchers with a central library. It is fully computerized and has an advanced Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), making it easy to find and access a wide range of academic resources. The library provides a supportive environment for learning, research, and sharing information, which is important for university education and research.

Our library offers a comprehensive print and digital resources, such as books, journals, e-books, and online databases. A spacious design of around 1061 sq. ft., the library supports both quiet study and group work. It has dedicated spaces for faculty and researchers, as well as discussion rooms for students, providing a vibrant and welcoming space for learning and research.

The library offers a wide range of online databases for in-depth research, including, J-Gate, Knimbus, Science Direct, JSTOR, Manupatra, Law Finder Online for legal studies. For engineering, we provide IEEE, while EBSCO covers fields like art, architecture, management, and hospitality. EBSCO’s e-book collection has over 240,000 titles, including many in IT and engineering. The library also has over 33800 printed books, 450 journals, nearly 15,000 e-journals, and theses. Complete Wi-Fi coverage, and backup power, the library ensures consistent access to resources. On-campus access is easy with IP-based authentication, while off-campus access is available through VPN. The library operates with clear guidelines for smooth functioning.

Each year, the library budget for new resources and infrastructure is planned based on recommendations from different committees. OPAC and other digital tools help users easily find resources. Through the National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), e-lessons are available to support learning. The library also has special sections for textbooks, reference materials, competitive exam prep, maps, audio/video resources, and thesis collections.
