About Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Engineering

Geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering is the study of the environment to deal with environmental problems like waste management, landfill management, and soil improvement through analysis and permeation. It is extremely important for us to manage our land, soil, and water resources to sustain life on earth. This is where professionals trained in this field come into the picture and make our lives easier.

Sandip University’s M.Tech in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering program is a comprehensive postgraduate degree program divided into four semesters across two years. The course curriculum is designed to match industry standards and help students become qualified and skilled professionals in this field. Students are trained by experienced faculty holding qualifications from IITs and NITs across India.

Through this program students will learn about soil dynamics, soil behaviour, waste disposal, geochemistry, and different earth structures. Besides this, earthquake engineering and foundation engineering are a part of this program to give students a well-rounded education in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering.

Sandip University’s 250+ acre campus is the perfect hub for a futuristic education in this field.
